My Philosophy
Language of Horses - The Herd Rituals®
I accept ponies and horses for training in The Herd Rituals® - Language of Horses and Training, Boarding, Problem Solving. I train in three areas, Herd Rituals in Liberty Connection (Language of Horses), Handwork and Bitless Balanced Riding. I start all horses for free in Language of Horses - The Herd Rituals®. You can also just drop off your horse at Liberty Connection, The Herd Rituals® in Dancing With Horses From Connection to Collection®.
Based on my training in the USA in 2014 in wild horse behavior and communication in horse bonding rituals with the horse free as wild horses create loyalty, bond, leadership and harmony among themselves in a herd. Based on the horses' free will, natural herd rituals and instincts, I create a deep connection with the horse. I build a friendship and relationship with the horse freely in the pasture by sharing space with undemanding time in meditation and with interaction through natural herd movements. I then invite the horse to follow my lead through the deep bond, energy and body language, without coercion, pressure, confined spaces, consequences, clicker training or treats.
Through the horses' own code of conduct, I communicate naturally and effectively in their own language and let the horse seek me out. By starting the horse free and allowing the horse's free will, one must use wisdom instead of pressure and concessions, consequences or bribes. Through the freedom and respect I give the horse, it is drawn to my leadership. Through the rituals, I create contact, trust, respect and leadership, will, focus and connection to the magical dance. The Liberty that the horse show is a gift from the horse and not trained.
It is the foundation for everything you want to do with your horse. I build interest and engagement where the horse performs based on its own free will without ropes or treats! The herd rituals develop the invitation forward, stops, transitions, tempo changes, self-confidence, balance and harmony. Starting the horse free is more effective and reduces time compared to traditional training. When equipment and tools come into play, the horse does not feel controlled or manipulated because it was started free. When the foundation is laid in the Language of Horses in the herd rituals, I focus on the seven basic movements – Halt, Forward, Halt, Turns, Backing, Lateral Bend and Side Step.

SCHOOLING IN HAND
Through practical work, trust, cooperation, body awareness and understanding are established while we build relaxation, strength, flexibility and balance with gymnastic exercises. Working by hand has many positive effects for the rest of the schooling and riding. Working by hand benefits everything else we do with the horse. It improves the relationship between human and horse and builds trust and respect that go hand in hand.
By working in hand, we can teach the horse what we want it to understand with a rider on its back, without the rider's weight, and we can see how the whole horse moves and functions when we "ride" the horse from the ground. We can communicate new ideas and movement patterns to the horse and correct unhealthy movement patterns.
After starting the horse free, I school the horse by hand with lasso, cordeo and cavesson with both one and two reins.
Handwork is the best tool for improving a horse's balance, coordination, agility and body awareness. The horse learns to use its body more correctly and develops a willingness to be guided to excellence.
Handwork can be used to
Create better cooperation and get to know the horse
Build trust
Start a young horse
Rehabilitate an injured horse
Spend time with the horse without riding
Keeping an old horse agile and healthy
Build topline and healthy muscles
Build balance and coordination
Relax a stressed horse
Warm up before a work session
Introduce a new movement
Train the horse
Liberty Connection Schools

Relationship-based Art of Riding is my brand, a concept based on an old work from an ancient, relationship-based culture, after I worked with an older master from 2012 and moved horses only through the sense of touch.
I use only light aids with Touch Connection® without traditional pressure and stretching methods, negative or positive reinforcement. Communication occurs naturally through deep contact, energy and body language in the three parts Herd Rituals (in Liberty Connection), By Hand and Bitless Balanced Horsemanship.
Communication occurs naturally through deep contact, energy and body language. I never become dependent on any tool but work a lot with the feeling from the hands - The Art of Lightness - Feeling of Touch. The horse follows the feeling and performs the movement in selfcarriage. The goal is collection on a loose rein.

Leave the horse in training
I train through understanding and respect for the horse as an individual with sustainable results. I adapt the training according to which Five Elements your horse belongs to according to TCM (Traditional Chinese Medicine), which is a fantastic tool in training. The lessons are videotaped so you can follow the work and if you have the opportunity to participate yourself for the best results, you are most welcome.
